Overview:

A planning template designed to help students organise their ideas for a persuasive text using the OREO structure (Opinion, Reasons, Examples, Opinion).

Learning Objectives:

Understand and apply the OREO structure in persuasive writing.
Organise ideas logically with clear reasons and supporting examples.
Develop confidence in expressing and justifying opinions.

How the Activity Works:

Students use the template to structure their persuasive writing. They begin by stating their opinion, followed by reasons supporting their viewpoint. For each reason, they provide an example to strengthen their argument. Finally, they restate their opinion in the conclusion. This structured approach helps students develop clear and well-supported persuasive texts.
