Overview:

A task card with a narrative excerpt to help students practise identifying key story elements such as setting, characters, theme and making predictions. Designed for students in years 3 and 4.

How the Activity Works:

Students read a narrative excerpt on the task card and answer questions focused on identifying story elements and making predictions. This task card enhances analytical thinking and comprehension skills and is ideal for use in reading rotations and other independent or small group activities.
