Create Desert Food Web

Overview:

This hands-on activity allows students to build their own desert food web by cutting and pasting animals and plants to demonstrate the relationships within a desert ecosystem.

How the Activity Works:

Students are provided with images of various desert animals and plants, including producers (e.g., cacti), primary consumers (e.g., rabbits), and predators (e.g., snakes). They cut out the images and arrange them to create a food web, connecting the animals and plants with arrows to show energy flow. This activity is ideal for science lessons on ecosystems and habitats, helping students understand the interactions between organisms in the desert.
