EASYTEACHING.NET
Overview:
A worksheet designed for early and middle years students to determine whether the underlined part of a sentence is the cause or the effect.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand the difference between causes and effects in sentences.
- Practise identifying whether a highlighted part of a sentence represents the cause or the effect.
- Develop critical thinking and comprehension skills.
How the Activity Works:
Students read each sentence on the worksheet, where either the cause or the effect is underlined. They analyse the underlined portion and circle the word ‘cause’ or ‘effect’ to indicate their answer. This activity helps students strengthen their understanding of cause and effect relationships while improving their ability to analyse sentence structure.
