Overview:

A persuasive writing activity where students plan and write to persuade others whether burgers or pizza are better. Designed for early years students.

Learning Objectives:

Develop skills in persuasive writing, including clearly stating an opinion and supporting it with logical reasons.

Strengthen argumentation abilities by using relevant examples and evidence to back up their opinion.

How the Activity Works:

Students are provided with a planning framework to help them organise their thoughts and decide whether burgers or pizza are the better choice. They must provide two reasons to support their opinion. This activity promotes critical thinking and persuasive writing skills while encouraging students to express their views effectively.
