Overview:

Students identify 3D shapes in everyday life by naming them and drawing or writing examples of where they can be found. Designed for early to middle years students.

How the Activity Works:

The worksheet includes pictures of objects such as a can, a tent and a box of tissues. Students name the 3D shape represented by each object and then draw or write about another example of that shape they know from everyday life. This activity encourages students to connect geometric shapes with the world around them and reinforces their shape recognition skills.
