Drawing the Seasons (1)
EASYTEACHING.NET
Overview:
Students draw a picture for each season using four separate boxes. Designed for early years students.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify the key characteristics of each season, including activities, clothing, and special features.
- Develop creativity by drawing representations of the seasons.
- Practise fine motor skills through drawing.
How the Activity Works:
Students are provided with four boxes, each representing a different season: summer, autumn, winter and spring. They are encouraged to think about the activities they enjoy, the clothes they wear, and the special features of each season. Students then draw a picture in each box that represents their thoughts for each season. This activity encourages creativity while helping students connect personal experiences to the changes in the seasons.
