Overview:

This cut-and-paste activity helps students match fractions in different representations, including symbols, words, and visual models. Designed for year 2 and 3 students.

Learning Objectives:

Recognise and match fractions in symbolic, written, and visual forms.
Develop an understanding of how fractions can be represented in different ways.
Strengthen fine motor skills through cutting and pasting.

How the Activity Works:

Students cut out fraction representations and paste them into the correct groups, matching each fraction symbol with its corresponding written form and visual representation (either a fraction circle or a fraction bar).
