Odd & Even Apple Tree

EASYTEACHING.NET

Overview:

A colouring activity where students identify and colour odd numbers green and even numbers red on an apple tree. Designed for students in years 1 and 2.

Learning Objectives:

  • Recognise and differentiate between odd and even numbers.
  • Practise number identification through a hands-on activity.
  • Strengthen understanding of number patterns and classification.

How the Activity Works:

Students look at each number on the apples and determine whether it is odd or even. They then colour odd-numbered apples green and even-numbered apples red, reinforcing their understanding of number properties in an engaging way.
