Overview:

Students sort 3-digit numbers according to the number of hundreds they contain. Designed for early years and middle years students.

How the Activity Works:

Students are provided with a set of 3-digit numbers and asked to sort them based on the number of hundreds. They will write the numbers into the corresponding flower, matching them with the correct group of hundreds (e.g., 100, 200, 300). As they go, students should cross out the numbers that have already been placed. This activity reinforces place value understanding and number sorting skills.
