Picture Search: Living & Non-Living

Overview:

A picture search activity where students study an image of a farm and list the living and non-living things they can identify. Designed for early to middle years students.

How the Activity Works:

Students are given a picture of a farm and asked to carefully examine the scene. They will make a list of the living and non-living things they can see in the image. For example, animals such as cows are living, while objects like fences and barns are non-living. This activity encourages students to apply their understanding of living and non-living things to a familiar environment, reinforcing key concepts.
