Create Rainforest Food Web

Overview:

This hands-on activity allows students to build their own rainforest food web by cutting and pasting animals and plants to demonstrate the relationships within a rainforest ecosystem.

How the Activity Works:

Students are provided with images of various rainforest animals and plants, including producers (e.g., trees, vines), primary consumers (e.g., monkeys, insects), and predators (e.g., jaguars, snakes). They cut out the images and arrange them to create a food web, connecting the animals and plants with arrows to show energy flow.
