EASYTEACHING.NET

Overview:

A cut and paste activity where students match animals to their correct habitats. Designed for students in years 3 and 4.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify animals and the habitats they live in.
  • Understand the different features of habitats such as beaches, forests, farms, and grasslands.
  • Apply knowledge of animal classification based on environmental factors.

How the Activity Works:

Students are provided with a set of animals and habitats. They cut out the animal images and paste them into the correct habitat: beach, forest, farm, or grassland. This activity reinforces students' understanding of the relationship between animals and their habitats, encouraging critical thinking about the environmental factors that influence where animals live.
