Penguin Life Cycle: Cut & Paste

Overview:

A cut and paste activity where students arrange the pictures and names of the stages to complete the life cycle of a penguin. Designed for middle and upper years students.

Learning Objectives:

• Identify and understand the stages of a penguin's life cycle.
• Recognise key stages such as egg, chick, juvenile, adult, and nesting.
• Develop a clear understanding of how each stage contributes to a penguin's development and survival.

How the Activity Works:

Students cut out the pictures and corresponding names of each stage of a penguin’s life cycle. They then paste them in the correct order on a sheet, completing the life cycle from egg through to nesting. This interactive activity encourages students to engage with and learn about penguin growth and development in a fun and hands-on way.
