Overview:

A word search activity where students search for key words related to objects in the sky, such as the sun, moon, rainbow, planets and space. Designed for early years students.

Learning Objectives:

Recognise and identify key vocabulary related to the sky and space.
Improve letter recognition and word-finding skills.
Develop concentration and problem-solving skills through the word search.

How the Activity Works:

Students are given a star-shaped grid filled with letters, and their task is to find and circle words related to objects in the sky, such as sun, moon, rainbow, planets, and space. The words can appear in any direction: horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. This activity supports vocabulary development and enhances students’ familiarity with space-related terms in a fun and engaging way.
