Overview:

A set of 4 inferring circles designed to help students analyse images. Suitable for early and middle years students.

Learning Objectives:

• Develop critical thinking and inference skills by analysing images.
• Improve observational skills by identifying key details in an image.
• Foster curiosity and deeper questioning through structured prompts.

How the Activity Works:

Each worksheet features an inferring circle divided into four sections. One section contains an image, while the other three guide students through the analysis. Students will first identify what they can see "Right There" in the picture, then note any questions they still have. Finally, they will make inferences based on the clues gathered from the image. This activity encourages students to engage with visual material thoughtfully, making connections between observations and inferences.
