Overview:

A guided activity where students draw and write to show how to make a boy sun safe. The activity includes a picture guide to help students understand and apply key sun safety practices. Designed for early and middle years students.

How the Activity Works:

Students are provided with a picture of a boy who is not yet sun safe. They are asked to draw and write about how they can make the boy sun safe. Using the included picture guide, students will consider actions such as:

• Drawing a wide-brimmed hat on the boy for sun protection.
• Drawing sunglasses to protect his eyes from harmful UV rays.
• Adding sunscreen to his skin or showing him seeking shade.
• Ensuring he is wearing long sleeves or protective clothing.
