How We Change: Sort

Overview:
This sorting activity helps students understand the changes that occur during different life stages by matching activities to the relevant stages. Students will cut and paste pictures of activities like playing with a ball, drinking from a bottle, and getting married, and match them to the life stages: baby, child and adult. Designed for early and middle years students.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand the key activities associated with each life stage.
- Recognise how people's activities change as they grow.
- Develop an understanding of the life stages from baby to adult.
How the Activity Works:
Students are given pictures representing different activities (e.g., playing with a ball, drinking from a bottle, attending school, getting married). They are asked to cut and paste the pictures into the correct life stage categories: baby, child or adult. For example, the bottle is matched with the "baby" stage, the ball with the "child" stage, and the wedding with the "adult" stage. This activity helps students understand the relationship between age, activities, and the development of skills and responsibilities.
