Narrative Writing Worksheets
Our collection of narrative writing worksheets & resources. What is a narrative? A narrative is a story, and its purpose is to entertain
Narratives are all structured in a similar way. They begin with an orientation (the introduction). After the orientation is the complication (the problem), and then the resolution.
The orientation introduces the reader to the characters in the story and the setting. The complication is the most exciting part of the narrative. It’s where something goes wrong for the main character/s. The problem of the story is solved in the resolution.
Our worksheets help teach narrative structure, language elements, how to write sizzling starts and more!
