How the Activity Works:
Students are given a set of 2-digit numbers and complete four tasks for each: writing the number in words, representing it using MAB blocks, filling in a number expander to show different ways to partition the number, and writing an expression in standard notation (e.g., 40 + 5 = 45). This activity builds foundational place value skills and encourages multiple representations of numbers.
