Students build sentence towers by matching blocks of text for each sentence type: commands, statements, questions and exclamations. Designed for students in year 2.

Students cut out sentence blocks and arrange them into towers for each sentence type. Visual guides, including border colours and pictures, assist students in correctly sorting and building the towers. The activity promotes hands-on engagement while reinforcing sentence type recognition.
