Overview:

This engaging game helps students practise addition facts to 10 using rainbow-themed visuals. Players roll a 6-sided dice and find the number that adds to their roll to make 10, covering the corresponding number on the game board. The first player to place 4 counters in a row wins. This game reinforces addition skills in a fun and interactive way.

Learning Objectives:

  • Develop addition skills, focusing on making 10.
  • Enhance number recognition and strategy through gameplay.
  • Practise basic math facts in a fun and competitive setting.

How the Activity Works:

Players take turns rolling a 6-sided dice. After rolling, they determine which number needs to be added to their roll to make 10. For example, if the dice shows 4, they will look for the number 6 on the game board and cover it with a counter. The first player to place 4 counters in a row wins the game. Laminate the game board and pieces for durability and long-lasting use.
