X-Factor Multiplication Game

Overview:
A fun and interactive game designed to help students practise multiplication facts up to 12. Players take turns answering multiplication questions to place their counters in a row and aim to be the first to get 4 in a row. Designed for middle to upper years students.
Learning Objectives:
- Practise multiplying numbers up to 12.
- Strengthen mental multiplication skills.
- Develop strategic thinking and friendly competition in a game setting.
How the Activity Works:
This two-player game involves each player taking turns to answer multiplication problems such as 5 x 7 or 4 x 6. Players must answer correctly to place a counter on the game board. The goal is to be the first player to get four counters in a row, either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. To make the game more durable, laminate the board for long-lasting use. This activity reinforces multiplication skills while encouraging strategic planning and teamwork.
