Overview:

A board game that challenges players to apply their knowledge of fractions. Designed for students in years 3 and 4. Laminate for a long-lasting resource.

Learning Objectives:

  • Solve fraction-based questions to reinforce fraction knowledge.
  • Develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Apply fraction concepts in a fun, interactive setting.

How the Activity Works:

Player 1 chooses a Game Card and answers the fraction-related question. Player 2 checks their answer using the Answer Card, which is attached to the back of the card for quick reference. If Player 1's answer is correct, they roll the dice and move forward the corresponding number of spaces. The first player to reach the finish line wins. This engaging game helps players reinforce their fraction understanding while encouraging self-checking and cooperative learning.
