Overview:

A set of 12 puzzles designed to help students match different representations of multiplication facts. Suitable for early and middle years students. Laminate for a long-lasting resource.

Learning Objectives:

Recognise and understand various multiplication representations (arrays, groups, repeated addition, and digits).
Develop a deeper understanding of multiplication through visual and numerical connections.
Improve multiplication fact recall and fluency.

How the Activity Works:

Students match each representation with its matching multiplication fact. This includes matching multiplication equations with arrays, groups, repeated addition, and digit-based representations. As they complete the puzzles, students reinforce their understanding of multiplication concepts and improve their ability to visualise and solve multiplication problems in multiple ways.
