Time Attack Game, 15 Minute Intervals

Overview:
A dynamic game that helps students practise reading times in 15-minute intervals (o'clock, quarter past, half past, quarter to) on both analogue and digital clocks. Players roll dice, land on a clock face, and match it to the corresponding digital time on the game board. The first player to place three counters in a row wins. Designed for middle years students.
Learning Objectives:
- Recognise and read times in 15-minute intervals on analogue clocks.
- Match analogue times to digital times.
- Enhance strategic thinking and number recognition through dice rolls and game progression.
How the Activity Works:
Two players take turns rolling dice and moving around the outer squares of the game board. When a player lands on an analogue clock displaying a time (e.g., quarter past, half past), they read the time and cover the matching digital time on the game board with a counter. The goal is to be the first player to place three counters in a row, either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Laminate the game board for repeated use and durability.
