Overview:

This set of three puzzles challenges students to complete counting patterns in 2s, 5s and 10s. These puzzles help reinforce number recognition, sequencing and skip counting skills. Designed for early years students.

Learning Objectives:

  • Recognise and order numbers in patterns of 2s, 5s and 10s.
  • Develop fine motor skills through cutting and pasting.
  • Enhance pattern recognition and sequencing abilities.

How the Activity Works:

Students cut and paste the puzzle pieces to complete the counting patterns in 2s, 5s and 10s. Once the numbers are arranged correctly, a picture is revealed that students can then colour in. This engaging activity strengthens students' understanding of skip counting while providing an enjoyable, creative task.
