Time Match, O’clock

Overview:

An activity designed to help students match o’clock times in digital, analogue, and word forms. Suitable for early years students.

Learning Objectives:

• Recognise and match o’clock times in digital, analogue, and word forms.
• Develop an understanding of o’clock times and how they are represented in different formats.
• Strengthen time-telling skills through matching exercises.

How the Activity Works:

Students cut and paste the matching o’clock times. Each set includes a digital time (e.g., 5:00), an analogue clock, and the corresponding word form (e.g., "five o’clock"). This activity helps students practise recognising and matching o’clock times, reinforcing their ability to understand and represent time in multiple formats.
