24 Hours Daily Activities Clock
Overview:
This activity encourages students to design and personalise a 24-hour clock to reflect their daily activities. Students will mark the hours, trace lines for the start and finish times of their activities, and decorate the clock with pictures representing different events throughout their day. Designed for early and middle years students.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand and visualise the concept of a 24-hour day.
- Identify and represent the start and finish times of various daily activities.
- Develop organisational and time-management skills by planning and labelling a full day.
How the Activity Works:
Students are provided with a blank 24-hour clock template. They will mark the hours around the clock face and label them with their daily activities. For each activity, they will trace lines indicating the start and end times (e.g., sleep from 8pm to 6am). Students can decorate the clock with pictures that represent their daily routines, such as drawing a bed for sleep or a book for study time. This creative and interactive activity helps students learn how to organise their time effectively and express their schedules visually.
