Blank Multiplication Grid to 10x

Overview:

A blank multiplication grid (to 10x10) for students to complete. Designed for students in the middle and upper years.

Learning Objectives:

• Practise and reinforce multiplication facts from 1x to 10x.
• Develop speed and accuracy in completing a full multiplication grid.
• Strengthen multiplication skills through independent work.

Activity and Game Ideas:

1. Timed Challenge – Time students to complete the whole grid as quickly as possible. Compare results from the start to the end of term! 
2. Partner Challenge – Have students work in pairs to complete the grid, each using a different colour.
3. Multiplication Race – Race against the clock to complete one row or column at a time.
4. Pattern Creation – Ask students to fill in the grid and then identify or create number patterns, such as multiples of a number, squares, or diagonal patterns.
