Overview:

A worksheet designed to help upper-year students practise multiplying large numbers by 2-digit numbers using vertical multiplication. Students will apply the method of multiplying the top number by the ones and tens of the bottom number, then adding the results. Designed for upper years students.

How the Activity Works:

Students are presented with a series of multiplication problems where they multiply a large number by a 2-digit number. Using vertical multiplication, they first multiply the top number by the ones place of the bottom number, then multiply the top number by the tens place of the bottom number. They then add the two results to find the final answer. This activity helps students refine their multiplication skills and enhances their ability to work with larger numbers efficiently.
