Overview:

Students identify 3-digit numbers represented by MAB blocks and draw MAB block representations for given numbers. Designed for students in years 2 and 3.

Learning Objectives:

Identify 3-digit numbers based on MAB block representations.
Accurately write 3-digit numbers corresponding to MAB block models.
Draw MAB block representations for given 3-digit numbers.

How the Activity Works:

Students are presented with MAB block models and must write the corresponding 3-digit numbers. In the final section, they are given a set of 3-digit numbers and are tasked with drawing the appropriate MAB block representations to match. This activity helps reinforce place value concepts and the relationship between numbers and their visual representations.
