Overview:

A symmetry drawing activity where students use a grid to complete the other half of a trophy. Designed for middle years students.

Learning Objectives:

Understand and apply the concept of symmetry.
Develop spatial awareness and fine motor skills.
Practise using a grid to accurately replicate a mirrored image.

How the Activity Works:

Students are given a half-drawn trophy on a grid and must complete the other half by reflecting the lines across the line of symmetry. The grid assists students in maintaining accuracy and proportion while helping them to grasp the concept of symmetry through a rewarding and visually appealing design.
