Days of the Week Rainbow (1)

Overview:

Students colour a rainbow with the days of the week written in order and complete the sentences: "Yesterday was...", "Today is...", and "Tomorrow will be...". Designed for early years students.

Learning Objectives:

  • Reinforce knowledge of the days of the week.
  • Develop sequencing skills and an understanding of time.
  • Practise sentence structure and daily reflection.

How the Activity Works:

Students are provided with a rainbow worksheet where the days of the week are written in order. They colour the rainbow and then complete the sentences: "Yesterday was...", "Today is...", and "Tomorrow will be...". This activity reinforces the order of the days while giving students a chance to engage creatively through colouring.
