Seasons: Activities & Clothes
EASYTEACHING.NET
Overview:
Students explore seasonal changes by identifying activities and clothing associated with summer, autumn, winter and spring while tracing the names of the seasons. Designed for early years students.
Learning Objectives:
- Recognise activities and clothing linked to each season.
- Develop an understanding of how seasons affect daily life.
- Practise handwriting by tracing the names of the seasons.
How the Activity Works:
For each season—summer, autumn, winter and spring—students answer two questions: What activities do you do in this season? and What clothes do you wear? They then trace the name of the season to reinforce handwriting skills. This activity encourages students to think about seasonal changes in a meaningful way while supporting early writing development.
