Overview:

Students match months to their corresponding seasons by cutting and pasting them into the correct groups. Designed for early and middle years students.

Learning Objectives:

Identify the months that belong to each season: summer, autumn, winter and spring.
Develop an understanding of seasonal changes and their relationship to the calendar year.
Practise fine motor skills through cutting and pasting.

How the Activity Works:

Students are given a set of months and four season labels: summer, autumn, winter and spring. They cut out the months and paste them under the correct season. This hands-on activity helps reinforce the connection between months and seasonal patterns while supporting fine motor development.
