Match Up Times, O’clock

Overview:

An activity designed to help students match o’clock times in analogue, digital, and word forms. Designed for early and middle years students.

Learning Objectives:

• Recognise and match o’clock times in analogue, digital, and word forms.
• Develop an understanding of o’clock times and how they are represented in different formats.
• Strengthen time-telling skills through visual and written representation.

How the Activity Works:

Students draw lines to connect the matching o’clock times. Each set includes an analogue clock, a digital time (e.g., 3:00 for three o’clock), and the corresponding word form (e.g., "three o’clock"). This activity helps students practise recognising o’clock times and reinforces their ability to understand and represent time in various formats.
