Overview:

Students colour prime numbers red and composite numbers blue while listing the factors of different numbers. Designed for students in year 5 and year 6.

Learning Objectives:

How the Activity Works:

Students are given a list of numbers. They colour the prime numbers red and the composite numbers blue. After colouring the numbers, students will list the factors of each number, reinforcing their understanding of prime and composite number characteristics. This activity helps students practise their number theory skills while visually distinguishing between prime and composite numbers.
