How the Activity Works:

Students are introduced to the double-double strategy, where they solve 4x problems by first doubling the number and then doubling the result again. For example, to solve 4x6, students double 6 to get 12, then double 12 to get 24. This strategy encourages mental calculation and helps students develop a more efficient approach to solving multiplication problems.
