Overview:

Students represent given 3-digit numbers using MAB blocks and identify numbers shown in MAB representations. Designed for students in year 3 and year 4.

Learning Objectives:

Develop a visual understanding of 3-digit numbers using MAB blocks.
Accurately draw MAB representations for given numbers.
Identify and write numbers based on MAB representations.

How the Activity Works:

Students are provided with a set of 3-digit numbers and must draw their corresponding MAB block representations. They also read MAB models and determine the numbers they represent. This activity reinforces place value concepts and strengthens number recognition skills.
