How the Activity Works:

They shade the appropriate fraction of each model: one model for 5 tenths, one for 7 hundredths, and one for 57 hundredths. Underneath each visual model, students write the corresponding decimal forms (e.g., 0.5 for 5 tenths and 0.07 for 7 hundredths).
