Overview:

A set of 12 multiplication fact wheels, each focusing on a specific times table (1x to 12x) with facts presented in mixed order.

Learning Objectives:

  • Practise multiplication facts in a varied sequence to improve fluency.
  • Strengthen recall by solving multiplication problems in a non-sequential format.
  • Develop flexibility in multiplication thinking through a more challenging activity.

How the Activity Works:

Each fact wheel features a number in the centre (e.g. 4×), surrounded by numbers 1 to 12 in a jumbled order. Students work their way around the wheel, multiplying the centre number by each surrounding number to complete the sums. This activity challenges students to recall multiplication facts quickly without relying on numerical order.
