Drawing the Seasons (2)
EASYTEACHING.NET
Overview:
Students draw a picture for each season on a circle divided into quarters. Designed for early years students.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify the key characteristics of each season, including activities, clothing and special features.
- Develop creativity by drawing representations of the seasons.
- Practise fine motor skills through drawing.
How the Activity Works:
Students are given a circle divided into quarters, each representing a season: summer, autumn, winter and spring. They are encouraged to think about what activities they like to do, what clothes they wear, and what is special about each season. Students then draw a picture in each quarter to represent their thoughts. This activity fosters creativity and helps students connect personal experiences to seasonal changes.
