What’s the Elapsed Time? 1-Min Intervals (1)

Overview:

An activity designed to help students calculate elapsed time by reading start and finish times from analogue clocks, using 1-minute intervals. Students will then work out the time difference between the two given times. Designed for students in year 5 and 6.

How the Activity Works:

Students are provided with both start and finish times on analogue clocks. They will read these times and calculate the elapsed time in 1-minute intervals by determining the difference between the start and finish times. This activity reinforces the concept of elapsed time, helping students to enhance their ability to read analogue clocks and calculate time differences accurately.
