Christmas Writing: Week 2

Overview:

A Christmas-themed writing activity where students use a picture to help write a new sentence each day. The set contains 5 lines, one for each day, encouraging daily writing practice during the Christmas season. Suitable for early years students.

Learning Objectives:

• Practise sentence writing using visual cues.
• Develop creativity by describing Christmas scenes.
• Strengthen sentence structure and vocabulary related to Christmas.

How the Activity Works:

Students are given a Christmas picture to help inspire their writing. Each day, they write a new sentence on one of the five lines provided. This activity encourages students to focus on describing the picture, using words associated with Christmas. It promotes daily writing practice and helps students express their thoughts about the holiday season.
