Overview:

This worksheet helps students represent improper fractions with thirds in different ways. Designed for students in year 4 and year 5.

How the Activity Works:

Students are presented with the fractions one third, seven thirds, four thirds, and five thirds. For each fraction, they create visual models (fraction circles and bars), convert the improper fractions to mixed numbers, and write the fractions in words. They also place the fractions on a number line to reinforce their understanding of the values and relationships between improper fractions.
