Overview:

Students measure various objects using a ruler to develop their skills in measuring length accurately. This activity helps reinforce the use of standard units of measurement, particularly centimetres. Designed for year 3 students.

How the Activity Works:

Students will be given a variety of objects to measure, such as pencils, books, or erasers. They use a ruler to measure the length of each object in centimetres. This activity allows students to practise using a ruler, developing their measuring skills and reinforcing their understanding of length. Students record their measurements for each object as part of the activity.
