Overview:

This worksheet helps students represent improper fractions with halves in different ways. Designed for year 4 and 5 students.

Learning Objectives:

Convert improper fractions with halves to mixed numbers.

How the Activity Works:

Students are presented with the fractions one half, three halves, four halves, and five halves. For each fraction, they create visual models (fraction circles and bars), convert the improper fractions to mixed numbers, and write the fractions in words. They also place the fractions on a number line to build a deeper understanding of their values.
