Overview:

A Christmas-themed mapping activity where students use grid references to help Santa deliver presents to the correct houses. Designed for middle and upper years students.

How the Activity Works:

Students are provided with a mapping sheet featuring a grid of houses. Each house is labelled with a grid reference. They follow instructions such as, "Deliver the toy lion to H9," or "Deliver the football to D5," by drawing the specified present at the correct house on the map. This festive activity combines the joy of Christmas with practical mapping skills, offering an engaging way for students to practise using grid references.
