How the Activity Works:

Students are given a floor plan of a house with various rooms outlined. They are tasked with calculating the perimeter of specific rooms, such as the media room, master bedroom, and verandah. To do this, students will measure the lengths of the walls and add them together to find the perimeter of each room. This activity helps students apply their understanding of perimeter in a practical context, strengthening their spatial reasoning and measurement skills.
